BROMPTON – will be a model for compact, walkable mixed use neighbourhoods. With a town centre at its heart and with over 20% of the site set aside for wetlands, waterways and parks, the project will provide over 1500 homes including affordable, medium density housing. The mixed use town centre will provide all the daily needs within an easy commute and walking distance for all residents.

The master plan has been carefully considered to ensure the foundation of a highly walkable and cycle able neighbourhood that is connected to the wider Cranbourne West PSP facilities. Internally it has over 10 kilometres of interconnected walking and cycling trails to encourage residents to enjoy green corridors and community destinations. The site is also connected via a high frequency bus service that runs between the major activity centres of Cranbourne and Frankston.

Brompton has been awarded all six leaves for Ecosystems, Waste, Energy, Materials, Water and Community. Residents will be provided options to reduce their water and energy consumption through the Brompton Design Handbook and all homes will be provided with recycled water to reduce water consumption.
