Bushlark Grove is a smartly designed community development situated in Moranbah, a town synonymous with Qld coal mining and located in the Central Queensland Isaac region. Previously cleared for grazing purposes, the Bushlark Grove development will assist in relieving housing cost pressures through the release of land supply to the open market. A diverse range of lot types and pricing points are currently offered to locals and non-resident workers.
Bushlark Grove will explore new forms of hot arid architecture appropriate for the Moranbah context, including residential development types such as villa, courtyard, loft homes, traditional and multiple residential allotments. The precinct includes provisions for smaller, better functioning open space areas that incorporate public art and facilities. Careful consideration of design, size and plantings ensures these public spaces are less costly to maintain.
Bushlark Grove has been commended for its sustainable approach towards residential community design, and its ability to cater for a range of lifestyles, incomes and life stages; including young families, single person households and older persons.
